Complimentary Mediation & Conflict Coaching for Frontline Medical Professionals

davis April 12, 2020

Complimentary Mediation & Conflict CoachingAt Davis Mediation we realize that these are unprecedented times that call for all of us to come together to support each other. It is more important than ever that we use our specific skills and abilities to help each other so that we all get through this together. That is why we are offering one hour of complimentary mediation or conflict coaching to all frontline healthcare professionals to help them deal with conflicts that may be arising as a way to give back to our community.

These critical healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses as well as all the specialists involved in treating these difficult and often heartbreaking cases of COVID-19, are working incredibly long hours under extremely demanding conditions. In addition to this, many of them have now voluntarily separated themselves from their families so that they don’t risk infecting them. This overwhelming combination of working extremely long hours in a highly challenging environment while also being largely disconnected from their support system can wear down even the most dedicated professionals and lead to high levels of stress and conflict. This is why we would like to do our part to help these doctors, nurses and specialists using our professional mediation expertise.

We would be happy to help these frontline healthcare professionals discuss how to productively work through conflicts with their spouses or co-workers either through the use of mediation (where both parties would be involved in the discussions in order to address the conflict) or through conflict coaching (where we work with one party to offer feedback on potential approaches & tools to help work through the situation) – whichever is most appropriate for the situation. During these complimentary mediation or conflict coaching sessions, spouses or coworkers will learn new ways to communicate as well as more productive approaches to handling conflicts that are rising due to high levels of stress. We would offer these services via videoconferencing so that no one risks exposure and we can schedule these sessions at times that work for the healthcare professionals

We also have a variety of divorce mediation videos available that are helpful for both divorcing and previously divorced clients – the videos related to Parenting Plans will likely be especially helpful during our new reality of ‘stay-at-home’ orders and how this impacts parenting schedules.

We are here to do our part in supporting the frontline healthcare professionals that are diligently working to help those in need. Please feel free to reach out to us through the “Contact Us” page on our website if you would like more information on the complimentary mediation and conflict coaching offer.
